Nothing like being ill in bed for a few days to make you STOP and THINK about things and then decide to write a new blog post. Anyway… (By the way, “anyway” is such a magical word, its like one of those UNO cards for conversations.)… Anyway… I was just thinking back about when I first started “writing” music. It was back when I was in “Standard 1″, I don’t really know– I think I was 6 or something…. at least thats as far back as I remember. If only I still had my first few .xm files… ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR FILES. (They were lost in several HD crashes.) I never learned. 

Anyway-(!!!) The program was Fast Tracker 2. A Glorius instrument of sheer musical creativity. My brother showed it to me. It was like LEGO except for music, and I ate it up. My first few songs sounded like pure ugly. I admit…  Some crazy repetitive beats, blips, guitars, mashing drums and the deadly hihat. It was awful. Thankfully everything was in TUNE and, amazingly, on beat… it seemed I had the ear for that. So…

I’ve recently been very social, also very busy. I’ve been working on a video (that much I can say) for a game (that much I can say too), and its taken a lot of time, sleep, and energy to finish.In what little spare time I have I’ve been working on my music website (and the music (CD) that will go with it): www.aflaremusic.com – right now I’m building it all in Flash, for now users can log in and subscribe to the emailing list (PLEASE do, you won’t regret it when the website and other cool stuff is released, also, I’d love to ensure that the list is working!) So the band name is “AFLARE”

As for the social side of things, I’ve met some really good people, had some really fun times, drinks, partying etc.  So its not all just about work! Its a work-hard-play-hard-sleep-less-eat-healthy-run-fast-dance-hard lifestyle and I’m working on getting more sleep- but as you can see from the time of this post that isn’t working out too well! (Thank you FOCUS!)
